Job Summary:

A CCTV Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems to ensure effective surveillance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation:
Install and set up CCTV systems according to design specifications.

Mount cameras and configure associated equipment such as DVRs (Digital Video Recorders) and NVRs (Network Video Recorders). Run cables and connect system components.


Configuration:
Configure camera settings, including resolution, frame rate, and field of view. Set up recording parameters and storage options. Configure network settings for remote monitoring and access.


Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance checks on CCTV systems. Inspect and clean cameras and lenses to ensure optimal performance. Identify and replace faulty or damaged equipment.


Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve issues with cameras, cables, recorders, and other system components. Troubleshoot network connectivity problems. Collaborate with other technicians or support personnel to address complex problems.


Upgrades and Enhancements:
Stay informed about new technologies and advancements in CCTV systems. Recommend and implement upgrades to enhance system performance and capabilities.


Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and maintenance activities. Create documentation for clients, including system manuals and user guides.


Customer Interaction:
Communicate with clients to understand their surveillance needs. Provide training to clients on system operation and maintenance.


Compliance and Standards:
Ensure installations comply with relevant regulations and standards. Stay informed about changes in industry regulations.


Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.

Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or in a related field.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Freshers are most welcome.


Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry equipment. Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
