The Product Operations team is looking for a high-caliber individual to help drive the future of our mortgage business. We are expanding rapidly and need exceptional talent as our team and company grow.

You will play a pivotal role in driving coordination between the greater tech organization (Product, Engineering, and Data) while serving as the owner of the inner workings that power the Ocrolus machine.


What you'll do:


  • Be the expert in all things related to mortgage underwriting and loan origination to drive decisions and recommendations on the future of our product offering.
  • Test implementations and launches of new mortgage document offerings, working closely with key cross functional stakeholders across our Workforce Operations, Product, Solutions and Engineering teams.
  • Establish bestinclass quality measures to ruthlessly grade the success of initiatives, enabling a hypercalculated, iterative approach to improvement over time.
  • Serve as part of the connective tissue for mortgage initiatives across the entire company, helping to define, test, operationalize, and train teams on our mortgage products.

What you'll bring:


  • 5+ years of experience as a mortgage underwriter across multiple loan types and extensive experience with loan origination systems (experience with Encompass a plus).
  • Problemsolving, analytical thinker with a natural inclination and curiosity to improve efficiency and drive outcomes using a datadriven mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Prior experience working in a tech forward company in a product and / or operations capacity with proven results.
  • Bias towards action, someone that gravitates towards taking ownership over difficult problems and isn't satisfied until they've been solved.
  • Nice to have: 2+ years of experience in SQL and ability to pull and manipulate data at scale.
