The role:

As a UX Designer specializing in the eCommerce domain, you will play a crucial role in creating user-centered, visually appealing, and highly intuitive digital experiences for our online retail platform.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to understand user needs, design user interfaces, and optimize the customer journey to drive conversions, improve user engagement, and enhance overall user satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities: 1.

User Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability tests, to gain insights into user behavior, pain points, and preferences within the eCommerce domain.
  • Analyze data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improving the user experience and increasing conversion rates.

UX/UI Design:

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to illustrate and communicate design concepts and interactions.
  • Design visually appealing and userfriendly interfaces for various eCommerce touchpoints, including web and mobile platforms.
  • Ensure that the interface design adheres to best practices, usability principles, and brand guidelines.

Information Architecture:

  • Organize and structure website information to optimize user navigation and findability of products and services.
  • Develop intuitive and efficient information hierarchies and taxonomies for product categories and filters.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):

  • Collaborate with the marketing and analytics teams to identify CRO opportunities and design A/B tests to optimize key conversion funnels.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze user interactions to make datadriven design decisions aimed at improving conversion rates.

Accessibility and Mobile Responsiveness:

  • Ensure that the eCommerce platform meets accessibility standards to accommodate users with disabilities.
  • Design responsive interfaces that provide seamless user experiences across various devices and screen sizes.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand business objectives and align design solutions with project requirements.
  • Present design concepts, prototypes, and findings to stakeholders and seek feedback for iterative design improvements.

Stay Updated with Industry Trends:

  • Stay informed about the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies within the eCommerce and UX design space.
  • Advocate for usercentered design principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the design team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a UX Designer, ideally within the eCommerce domain or related industry.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of usercentered design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices.
  • Knowledge of conversion rate optimization techniques and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
  • Creative problemsolving skills and a strong eye for detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced, Agile development environment.
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant UX design work, including eCommerce projects, is a plus.
