    Description

    Position :
    SQL Production Support - L2

    Experience : 4+ years


    Location :
    Bangalore (Hybrid)

    Shift : 6 AM onwards


    Must-have skills :

    • Strong proficiency in SQL/PL SQL with a selfrating of more than 3 out of 5
    • Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) concepts.
    • Understanding of CDC (Change Data Capture) and Data Warehousing concepts.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
    • Experience with Unix/Linux environments.

    Roles & Responsibilities :

    • Provide Level 2 production support for SQLrelated issues and incidents.
    • Troubleshoot SQL/PL SQL queries and procedures to identify and resolve performance or functional issues.
    • Collaborate with development teams to implement solutions and enhancements.
    • Monitor ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and timely execution.
    Implement and maintain CDC mechanisms to capture and propagate changes in data.

    • Utilize Data Warehousing concepts to optimize data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
    • Work with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure to deploy and manage SQL databases and related services.
    • Administer Unix/Linux environments, including scripting and automation tasks.
    Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during off-hours as needed.

    • Document incidents, solutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.


    This role requires a proactive individual with strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of ETL, CDC, data warehousing, cloud platforms, and Unix/Linux environments.

    The candidate should be comfortable working in a hybrid environment and able to handle production issues effectively during early morning shifts.
