Description

Responsibilities:

Conducting engaging and interactive classes to students, covering topics related to illustration, têxtile, and fashion management.

Developing curriculum and lesson plans that align with industry standards and cater to the needs of diverse student groups.

Providing hands-on training and practical demonstrations to enhance students' understanding and skills in fashion-related techniques and processes.

Assisting students in the creation and execution of fashion projects, including sketching, fabric selection, garment construction, and portfolio development.

Evaluating student performance through assessments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback for improvement.

Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the fashion industry, incorporating relevant industry knowledge into the teaching curriculum.

Guiding and mentoring students, offering career advice and guidance for their future endeavors in the fashion field.

Collaborating with fellow teachers and staff to organize fashion shows, exhibitions, and industry partnerships to enhance student exposure and networking opportunities.

Supporting the administrative tasks related to student records, attendance, and academic progress reports.

Maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment, adhering to established safety guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Fashion Management, or a related field.

Strong knowledge and expertise in illustration techniques, têxtile design principles, and fashion management concepts.

Prior teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory. Freshers with a genuine passion for teaching and fashion are encouraged to apply.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students.

Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons within the allocated time frame.

A creative and innovative mindset, capable of introducing new teaching methodologies and techniques to enhance student learning experiences.

Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate diverse student needs and learning styles.

Up-to-date knowledge of current fashion trends, industry practices, and emerging technologies.

A commitment to continuous professional development, with a willingness to attend workshops, seminars, and conferences to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field.
