- Functional Testing
- Should be able to write SQL queries
- Should be able to perform API testing manually using tools like POSTMAN
- Knowledge of Java, Selenium will be an advantage
Requirements:
- Understand project requirements & functional specifications, do the necessary elaboration
- Completely owning the testing
- Design Test Plans, Functional test cases and assist manager in designing the Testing strategy
- Design and execute test cases, document test results, and report defects in a clear and organized manner adhering to organizational testing processes
- Work collaboratively with development and quality assurance teams to ensure defects are resolved.
- Learn and implement various testing methodologies, processes and strategies.
- Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of the software.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation.
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to continuous quality
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Design, develop and execute functional test cases/automation scripts using open source tools
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Investigate the causes of nonconforming software and train users to implement solutions
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Strong passion for software testing and quality assurance
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency over written and verbal English
- Flexible and willingness to learn new methodologies, tools, technologies and/or testing processes and adapt quickly
