In MBRDI Design team, we design interior and exterior styling of all Mercedes-Benz Car projects along with our headquarters, Sindelfingen design studio in Germany.

We are engaged in Creative design, Digital modelling and Studio engineering for a panorama of projects for Mercedes-Benz car, Maybach, AMG and Vans.

This position is for the interior creative designer for generating new interior concepts and give directions to cross-functional teams of designers and engineers for productionizing these concepts.

This requires close connection with our German colleagues and a good understanding of the Mercedes-Benz design language.

Qualifikationen:

  • Ability to create innovative conceptual and production designs for vehicle Exterior, component detailing and development. Analyze and explore trend research and future technology
  • Relevant industry experience in working on live concept and production programs with specific focus on Exterior.
  • Strategic creative thinker with thorough understanding of the design process and experience in handling engineering criteria packages as input for concept generation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for design & Technical discussions and reviews.
  • Giving guidance and direction of CAD/Physical modelers during the design development phase.
  • Proficiency Alias/Maya or other surfacing software with be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of German language will be beneficial.
Job Responsibilities- Generate interior design concepts for future passenger car

  • Component detailing and designs.
  • Benchmarking for overall design, packaging, dimensions, materials and products and maintaining updated industry awareness on design trends for fresh ideas. Presenting this on global platform.
  • Create and present ideas to design leadership as per project milestone.
  • Effectively communicate with crossfunctional teams of digital designers, clay modelers, and visualization and studio engineers in form of sketches / digital models.
  • To plan and execute the tasks in order to achieve project milestones
  • Manage a project independently as well as in teams.
Qualifications - External

  • Graduate or Post graduate Designer (Industrial/ Transportation/Product Design) or equivalent
