    About The Job :

    Role : L2/L3 Python Automation Engineer.

    Location : Bangalore, KA / Chennai, TN.

    Essential Job Functions :

    - Experience in developing automation scripts using Python.

    - Deep understanding and experience working with L2 / L3 networking protocols.

    - Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches.

    - Experience in any Automation framework (pyATS).

    - Basic knowledge of Linux commands.

    Qualifications:.

    :

    Develop automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline and automate network operations tasks.

    Work closely with network engineering teams to understand requirements and design automation solutions.

    Implement automation for configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network devices.

    Utilize Python libraries and frameworks to interact with networking devices and protocols at L2/L3 layers.

    Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches as per organizational requirements.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into existing network infrastructure.

    Conduct testing and validation of automation scripts to ensure reliability and scalability.

    Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for automation solutions in production environments.

    Document automation scripts, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.

    Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in network automation technologies.

    Skills Required :

    8-12 years of experience as a Python Automation Engineer or similar role.

    Proficiency in developing automation scripts using Python programming language.

    Deep understanding and experience with L2/L3 networking protocols.

    Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches. Experience with any Automation framework, preferably pyATS.

    Basic knowledge of Linux commands for scripting and automation tasks.

    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

    Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are advantageous.
