JOB SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the build and run metrics and product backlog of a specific capability (Client identity and access management, cryptographic security services, Fraud Surveillance tools)
  • Represent stakeholders with the mandate to prioritise scope (functions/features), and define features and requirements
  • Develop product roadmaps and ensure alignment with business objectives, ensuring it is visible, transparent and clear
  • Clearly communicate priorities, objectives/goals, mission and acceptance criteria to the stakeholders and their squad
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams including design, engineering, marketing, and customer support
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify customer needs and trends, prototype, test and learn for the new features before development
  • Manage product lifecycle from ideation to launch
  • Monitor product performance, customer feedbacks and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and execute gotomarket strategies
  • Ensure project deliverables are of the desired quality and have appropriate endorsements / signoffs
  • Ensure that all submissions to committees are of the right quality and are timely.

  • Building and rolling out digital channel security capabilities to ensure customers enjoy a seamless yet secure banking experience.

Business

  • Deliver world class digital security banking products with highest quality standards.
  • Implement channel agnostic capabilities developed in a global stack thereby enabling true global solutions that can be delivered across all markets.
  • Achieve domain specific OKRs which supports Hive metrics and the bank's goals and strategies

Processes

  • For Agile Deliveries, the Product Owner is responsible for maximising the business value of the product resulting from work done by the Development Team. The PO is the person with ultimate accountability for successful delivery which includes all aspects of the product relating to their Agile Delivery.

People & Talent

  • Lead the squad to achieve its optimal potential, motivate and mentor the squad.

Risk Management

  • Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group as well as managing them.
  • Responsible to interpret the Group's financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures.

Governance

  • Awareness and Understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
  • Collaboratively work with internal stakeholders and local regulators to address governance issues.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Qualification

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience in the financial services domain and digital channels.
  • Experience working in an Agile Environment and proficient in agile tools such as ADO, Confluence, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills and learning mindset with ability to work with multiple projects at the same time.

Role Specific Technical Competencies

  • Prior working experience in digital banking and digital security products
  • Client centric mindset
