The Role:
Application Associate, Proprietary Data and Office Tools-Financial Modeling Group


The Location:
Hyderabad, Telangana India.


The Team:

Proprietary Data and Office Tools is a segment of the Financial Modeling team which comprises specialists of our Proprietary Data and Office Tools functionality which has strong use cases across all client segments.

The team is responsible for providing support to clients through the spreading of client's proprietary financials and building customized templates in Excel to manage their proprietary information We build custom presentations and pitchbooks utilizing both Office Tools for S&P Capital IQ Pro and PresCenter for S&P Capital IQ which are the linking services between Excel and both PowerPoint & Word.

The Financial Modeling teams are one of the primary touchpoints for our clients, and you will be the face of the organization for our clients.

Your regular day would require you to answer client queries and be an advocate of our products while showcasing your vast knowledge of our tools and data.

Responsibilities:


Analyze and understand the client requirements, spreading of client's proprietary financials following accounting treatment rules and developing customized Excel templates to spread the financials and ingest them to the client's account.

Build/automate custom presentations in PowerPoint and Word based on client requirements using Inhouse Office Tools Suite.
Partner with product teams on timely and thorough testing of our products, with an eye towards exceptional client experience.
Consistently make proactive suggestions regarding product usability, presentation and data quality.


What We're Looking For:


Basic Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Finance or Business.
0-1 Year Experience
Strong understanding and knowledge of the fundamentals of business, financial statements and investments. Proficient in research and analysis.
Good knowledge and understanding of capital and commodity markets.
Inclination towards the customer-oriented approach.
Succinct communication skills. Strong collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow with little supervision.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts including Night Shifts.


Preferred Qualifications:

VBA Knowledge is a plus.
