    The Role

    Location: Uluberia, Howrah.

    Qualification: Diploma Mechanical or B.E. / B. Tech. Mechanical.

    Technical Skills: Auto cad, Solid Works, Solid edge.

    Equipment Handled: EAF, LRF, FES, VD/VOD

    Functional Area: STEEL MELTING SHOP / HEAVY ENGINEERING

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Meeting with clients and design teams to determine mechanical applications and requirements.
    • Researching to inform the design and engineering methods required for the mechanical systems.
    • Planning and executing mechanical designs using CAD, CAM, and 3D CAD programs.
    • Performing computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine the designs.
    • Overseeing the development and manufacturing of physical prototypes for testing.
    • Documenting the design process, iterations, and test analytics.
    • Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets.
    • Liaising with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure coherence.
    • Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals.
    • Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, design trends, and engineering best practices.

    Ideal Profile

    • You have at least 3 years experience including solid experience in a similar role within Industrial.
    • You have working knowledge of Auto cad, Solid edge, solid works and mechanical design
    • You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
    • You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
    • You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
    • You are willing to undertake 0-30% travel.
