Your responsibilities also include guiding your team members, calculating the production cost and identifying niche markets for your designs.
You should be able to negotiate with vendors when sourcing fabrics and trims. You will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring timely delivery of the final product.

Responsibilities:
- Designing clothes and accessories to meet brief
- Forecasting and developing new patterns
- Drafting design sketches
- Supervising the entire production process
- Preparing and providing design samples to clients
- Analyzing and researching new industry and market trends
- Delivering final product inline with the company's standards
- Testing different types of materials and colors to ensure high quality product
- Attending workshops, fashion shows and events to upgrade skill
- Offering ideas and suggestions for collection themes
- Selecting and purchasing materials and fabrics

Consejos:
- Proven work experience as a Fashion Designer or similar role_
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator_
- Availability to travel for research and product development_
- Ability to do sketches by hand_
- Excellent design and conceptual skills_
- A bachelor's degree in design or fine arts is preferred_
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Fashion Designer_
