    Description

    Education : B.E. / B.Tech + MBA (Chemical Engg/Oil Technology preferred)

    Experience : Over 15 years in Oleo/Specialty chemical Industry

    Reporting to : Oleochemicals BU Head

    Direct Reportees:

    • India Plant Procurement Lead
    • India Plant Logistics Lead
    • India Plant Planner
    • Indonesia Plant Procurement Lead
    • Indonesia Plant Logistics Lead
    • Indonesia Plant Planner

    Role : Responsible for managing and optimizing the supply chain operations for Oleo + Specialty Chemicals, ensuring efficient procurement, production, distribution, and logistics to meet local market demands and organizational goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop supply chain and procurement strategies for operations in India and Indonesia.
    • Plan smooth operations through efficient management of procurement, demand forecasting, and production planning.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
    • Oversee procurement activities, supplier selection, negotiations, and contracts.
    • Manage supply chain planning, logistics, and distribution network.
    • Make recommendations for supply chain optimization.
    • Ensure compliance with key supply chain metrics and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.

    KRAs & KPIs:

    • Timely procurement: Raw Material Cost as % of Sales
    • Effective vendor management: Customer order cycle time, Percentage of on-time deliveries
    • Accurate demand planning: Variance between actual procurement costs and forecast
    • Efficient inventory management: Number of unplanned stock outs, Total Inventory Carrying Cost
    • Logistics management: Transportation Cost per Unit, Total cost of materials damaged in transit
    • Compliance with MIS: Percentage compliance of MIS completion timelines
    • Customer satisfaction: Percentage compliance to Service Level Agreements

    Technical Skills:

    • Strong strategic planning, negotiation, and relationship management skills
    • Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and decision-making
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
    • People development, coaching, and leadership experience
