Key Responsibilities:

-
Bookkeeping:


  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting software.
  • Update and maintain general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare and process invoices and expense reports.

Reconciliation:


  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate representation of financial transactions.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable statements.

Invoicing:


  • Generate and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies.

Financial Reporting:


  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Generate reports detailing accounts payable and receivable status.

Support to Month-End and Year-End Closures:

  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.

Documentation and Filing:


  • Maintain organized and uptodate financial records and documentation.
  • File and archive financial documents appropriately.

Communication:


  • Collaborate with internal teams to obtain necessary financial information.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Adherence to Policies and Procedures:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
  • Stay informed about relevant accounting regulations and changes.

Assist in Audits:


  • Provide support during internal and external audits.
  • Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor queries.

Special Projects:


  • Contribute to special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Familiarity with relevant accounting regulations and standards.

Job Types:

Salary:
₹10, ₹12,000.00 per month
