Job Description Job Overview**:

As a Data Architect in our Data Backbone Project team, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of software architecture for the enterprise data layer spanning across business domains.

You will be collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to provide technical leadership to develop and implement an overall organizational data strategy that is in line with business processes and functions.

This includes data model designs, implementation and management of data mesh principles, data analytics systems and overall data governance.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data architecture solutions.
Implement data integration solutions to aggregate and consolidate data from various sources.
Collaborate with business stakeholder, data engineers and data scientists to ensure that data is readily available for advanced analytics and machine learning use cases.
Define data governance and security policies to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements while enabling seamless data availability and sharing to serve business goals.
Optimize and tune data architectures for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture and data flows.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in big data and data management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven industry experience (10+ years) as a Data Architect with a focus on big data solutions
Indepth knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data storage concepts.
Proficiency in working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB).
Expertise in Data Lake and Databricks
Expertise in data integration, ETL processes, and data pipeline development.
Expertise with cloudbased data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a crossfunctional team environment.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Data governance and security expertise is a big plus.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
