Tender Executive - GEM Portal (Bio-Medical Waste Services)

Responsibilities:

Handle the end-to-end tendering process on the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal for bio-medical waste services.

Monitor and review tender notifications, ensuring timely responses and adherence to submission deadlines.

Analyze tender documents, understand the requirements, and coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information for bid preparation.

Prepare and compile tender documents, including technical and commercial bids, in accordance with the GEM portal guidelines and specifications.

Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and legal, to ensure accurate and comprehensive tender submissions.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential opportunities and formulate winning strategies.

Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and subcontractors to gather relevant information for tender submissions.

Liaise with government officials and attend pre-bid meetings, clarifications, and site visits as required.

Maintain proper documentation of all tender-related communications, correspondences, and follow-ups.

Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to tendering processes.

Requirements:

Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in handling tendering processes on the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal, specifically in the field of bio-medical waste services.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Science, or Business Administration.

Strong knowledge of the GEM portal and its functionalities, including tender creation, bid submissions, and document management.

Familiarity with bio-medical waste management regulations and guidelines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare and present persuasive bid documents.

Detail-oriented approach with the ability to analyze tender requirements and prepare accurate and compliant bids.

Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tender submissions simultaneously.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in the bio-medical waste management industry will be an added advantage.
