FOR COIMBATORE BASED R & D COMPANY FOR PRODUCTION OF LCV 1500 TO 5000 KG ELECTRIC VEHCILES WITH SOLAR POWER SELFCHARGING LIGHT WEIGHT COMPOSITE BODY AND COMPOSITE COMPONENTS GOING FOR COMMERCIAL PRODUCTION IN 2025

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum M.Tech. / M.Sc. Plastics / Polymers / Surface Coating / Paint /

M.Sc. Organic Chemistry / Polymer Science (Thermoset only, No Thermoplastic)

• PhD desirable
• Minimum 58 years of relevant experience in Research, within companies

operating in the sector of Composites & Thermoset Resins.

Composites.

• Knowledge of project management tools like MS project will be an added

advantage.

• Knowledge of Analytical Instruments including Viscometer, DSC, DMA, FTIR,

UTM etc.


Job Description:

• Responsible for Manufacturing of Light Weight selfcharging body with solar

power, as well as most components including self-charging body made of

composites, using Carbon fiber, Kevlar, glass fiber, etc
- should have experience in using of Hand Lay Up, Vacuum Bagging, RTM,

VARTM and other FRP manufacturing methods and processes
- designing & fabricating the light weight self-charging body with solar power,

as well as most components.

• Layup of composite materials to moulds.
• Ability to perform adhesive mixing, composite layup and curing & interpret

drawings in both hard copy & electronic form.

• Manage the development process of new products that use carbon/glass

fibers along with Thermosetting Matrix systems.

• Knowledge of Polymers, Oligomers, Monomers such as Epoxy Resins, Vinyl
• Esters, Polyesters, Epoxy Acrylates &their cross linking chemistries.
• Experienced in transitioning earlystage new technologies, proof of concepts

in product development process.

• Collaborate with NPD project teams for Project planning/scheduling,

resourcing, management & execution to commercial launch.

• Ability to understand complex business needs with a creative problemsolving

mindset.
- highly developed written & oral communication skills & comfortable providing

feedback to others with a high degree of tact.

• Proven results to train & develop others, mentoring & motivating others

success.

• Experienced in SPC tools, Quality Management Systems like ISO 900
• Supervises the continuous improvement of the technological process

(product manufacturing process), the industrialization of new products/processes.
- drafting of documentation & procedures concerning new products &
production processes


Salary:
₹25, ₹45,000.00 per month
