Job Title:
Clinical Psychologist - Child Learning Disabilities Assessor
Job Summary:
An RCI certified clinical psychologist specialized in the assessment of learning disabilities in school children. You will be responsible for evaluating children to determine if they have learning disabilities.
Your primary responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations, interpreting test results, and providing recommendations for appropriate interventions to help children overcome their learning challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess the child's cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioural functioning.
Administer and interpret standardized tests, such as IQ tests, academic achievement tests, and behavioural rating scales.
Gather information from parents, teachers, and other relevant parties to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the child's learning abilities.
Analyse and interpret test results and other assessment data to develop an accurate diagnosis of the child's learning disabilities.
Provide written reports summarizing assessment findings and recommendations for interventions to parents, teachers, and other relevant parties.
Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and special educators, to develop appropriate interventions for children with learning disabilities.
Monitor the child's progress and modify interventions as needed to ensure that they are effective in addressing the child's learning challenges.
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an accredited program.
Should be a licensed practitioner.
Specialization in child clinical psychology and learning disabilities assessment.
Experience conducting psychological assessments and diagnosing learning disabilities in children.
Knowledge of relevant assessment tools and interventions for children with learning disabilities.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Compassion, patience, and empathy when working with children and families.
Salary:
₹14, ₹48,133.24 per month

- Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
