**JD: Web Portal Maintenance/Content Management

We are looking for a resource to manage and maintain corporate websites with the C*PA function.

The person will be responsible for design, publishing, configuration management, content management and maintenance of the corporate intranet working with stakeholder and the GIS team.

Primary duties include conceptualizing and implementing creative ideas for different sites, creating visual elements for content that are in line with our branding and maintain the portal on a regular basis working with various stakeholders.


Core Job responsibilities

  • Monitoring and maintaining the corporate website and its associated portals to ensure that they are functional, userfriendly, and uptodate.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams including marketing, design, and development to ensure that the website is aligned with the company's brand and business goals.
  • Managing website content including text, images, videos, and other media, and ensuring that it is accurate, current, and relevant.
  • Conducting regular website audits to identify and address any technical or usability issues, such as broken links, slow load times, and accessibility problems.
  • Creating and implementing strategies for search engine optimization (SEO) and ensuring that the website is optimized for search engines and user experience.
  • Monitoring website analytics to measure performance, track user behavior, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for website users, including employees and external stakeholders.
  • Managing website security and ensuring that it is protected against potential threats such as hacking and malware.
  • Staying uptodate with industry trends and best practices in website design, development, and maintenance.

Content / Design / User Experience - detailed

  • Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
  • Working with different content management systems.
  • Designing visual imagery for the intranet and pages and ensuring that they are in line with branding.
  • Stakeholder management should be able to work with different stakeholders to conceptualize creative ideas basis requirements
  • Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
  • Maintaining the appearance of intranet by enforcing content standards.
  • Manage web site built on React and ongoing maintenance of contents and regular updates.

Design/develop - detailed

  • Excellent visual design skills and be proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
  • Proficiency in frontend development web programming languages such as React, HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
  • Testing and improving the design, incorporating functionalities and new features.
  • Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.
  • Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.
  • Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
  • Proficient understanding of crossbrowser compatibility issues.
  • Uptodate experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
**What You Need - Skills and Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering or related technical discipline) or equivalent combination of training and work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX web design and development including responsive UI design
  • Experience of working in a corporate environment having managed corporate intranet based on CMS or SharePoint
  • Strong understanding of website design, development, and maintenance.
  • Experience with website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining SharePoint Office 365 environment
  • Familiarity with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
  • Proficiency in SPFx Framework ,HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies.
  • Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization best practices and website security protocols.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting, problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and leadership
  • Experience working in a distributed team environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities
  • Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely followup and resolution
  • Ability to work in a teamoriented, collaborative environment
