Job Title:

Electrical Officer - LPG Industry - Cochin

1) Proper maintenance of electrical circuits for carousal & allied accessories.
2) All Feeders Operation and Trouble Shooting
3) Proper maintenance of all electrical circuit for LPG Pumps, Compressors, DGs & Other static & rotaty equipments.
4) To ensure nil breakdown & 100% uptime for all the equipments in plant.
5) Preventive maintenance for all the electrical equipment/ facilities are being carried out as per schedule.
6) Attending to all Electrical problems pertaining to electrical systems.
7) Keeping DGs & Air Compressors in good working condition
8) reporting to Engineering Officer for smooth functioning of Electrical department.
9) Plant Lighting Operating and Troubleshoot.
10) Ensuring Earthing of all Gun in Carousal, Earthing of all Chain Conveyors( Motors), Earthing of all FLP Local Control Station ( FLP PUSH BUTTON ), Earthing of all JB Enclosure and their cover tightness with all screws.
11) Repair, Maintain and Replace Electrical Infrastructure components as per requirement
12) Monitoring diesel consumption
13) Keeping tab on operation of Utilities Motors ( TT Loading and Bottling, Chain Conveyor Motors, Jockey Pump Motors, Service Water Pump Motors, ETP/STP Motors, etc).
14) Improve plant reliability.
To optimise procurement of spares for maintenance.
1) Identify and prepare a list of critical spare to be kept in stock from time to time for smooth operations of plant.
2) Proper record for usage of spares in highest order.
To optimise the usage of power for plant operation
1) To reduce Power Consumption for filling of cylinders by effective maintenance / modifications of electrical cuircit for plants & machineries.
To prepare and monitor plant budget
1) Implementation of any new innovative idea / creativity in any field of activity resulting in improvement in systems / profit / QM / HSE performance / cost reduction / productivity increase etc.
2) To monitor electricity bills for power consumption & reduction.
To ensure adherence to highest degree of safety norm while carrying out maintenance of plant & machineries
1) To ensure that all the maintenance activities in the plant are being carried out adhering to relevant statutory & safety norms.
2) Nil accident in the plant
3) All the control systems in the plant are in working condition all time
4) Communicating of root cause analysis of near miss incidents to all periodically and keeping record of the same
5) Conducting Tool Box meeting for contract workmen engaged for maintenance/testing everyday for about 10 minutes prior to start of the work and record the same and maintenance of record.
6) Complying to all observations of audits & visits.
7) Maintaining all Log Books related to maintenance of rotory & static equipments.
8) Adherance to all safety practices, maintenance practices as per SOP.
9) Assisting operations officer in shed while plant is smoothly running
Key Skills:
Periodical testing of equipment/facilities
1) To carryout AMC Activities of (DG Set, Air Compressor) and Preventive Maintenance Schedules of (Transformer, ACB, VCB )
2) To ensure periodical testing of equipment/ facilities viz. panels, earthpits, transformers, MFMs, VA meters & instruments etc, on time.
To adopt best practices in LPG plant operation 2) To implement best practices for reducing energy consumptions, enhancing productivity, ensuring safety at customers' premises, reducing inventory carrying cost of spares etc.
To upgrade the skill of Staff & workmen
1) To conduct programs for continuously upgradeing the knowledge of staff & workmen on LPG Operation, safety & maintenance
