Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach using both logical and social activities
- Provide caregiving activities and approach
- Use a variety of different teaching techniques and methods
- Evaluate children's engagement and performance
- Make sure every child is improving
- Report on the progress and give insights
- Develop and maintain timely communication with parents
- Collaborate with other colleagues
- Adhere to teaching standards
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Keep abreast with new education methods and trends
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements and skills
- Should have Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCEd)
- One years of experience working as a Preschool Teacher in a Child Care Facility or Preschool or similar role in the Educational Institute.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills to speak to young children.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Familiar with child development processes and techniques.
- Creative and artistic teaching abilities
- Attention to detail
- Great amount of patience and flexibility
- Indepth knowledge of child development
- Must enjoy working with children
