Mandatory Skillset:


Experience in Building and Delivering end-to-end IOT solutions and digital twins, Leading team of software engineers, data engineers, analysts, Project execution and delivery accountability, Product roadmap and strategy.


Detailed Job Description:


  • Technology: You will be leading the technology team of engineers and designers to ensure product features delivery within stipulated timelines, while working in agile methodology. You will support team in design and architecture related concerns and troubleshooting issues while participating with team in discussions, sessions to ensure removal of impediments, and being accountable for success
  • Platform Delivery & Management: Delivers, manages and operates IoT platforms in Azure landscape. Ensures that services and components meet standards and governance best practices, and the necessary security, devops control framework are in place.
  • Methods and Tools: Provides expertise and support on use of methods and tools.

Software Development:

Designs, codes, tests, corrects and documents complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications, and subsequent iterations, using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well engineered result.


  • Good understanding of IoT end to end, covering sensors, edge compute, networking and data analytics
  • Hand on experience of "IIoT solutions building" from device to enterprise (Database, Business Intelligence) and communication protocol like MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, AMQP, XAMP.
  • Wide experience in cloud technologies: Azure cloud expertise focusing on data platforms, streaming technologies and, ideally, cloud based IOT services
  • Hands on knowledge of a IoT Hub, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Time Series Insights, Azure Functions, Azure IoT Edge / Custom IoT Edge Gateway, Azure Digital Twins and DTDL solutions.
  • Knowledge on API/Microservice Development, design patterns, UX and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Implementation experience on Data Management (ETL pipelines, Hot, Cold, Warm Storage )
  • Release and Deployment: Assesses and analyses release components. Directing team in carrying out the builds and tests in coordination with testers and component specialists maintaining and administering the tools and methods manual or automatic and ensuring, where possible, information exchange with configuration management. Ensures release processes and procedures are maintained.
  • A confirmed grasp of software development and design thinking in an agile environment. You understand and advocate continuous delivery pipelines and DevOps. Hands on experience in delivery using CI/CD pipelines is a big plus.
  • Team: You will be responsible for building and operating our strategic IoT platforms while working with software engineers, platform engineers, data engineers, data scientists and system integration (hardware) engineers, You will be handson (preferred) in designing, planning, implementing, maintaining and documenting reliable and scalable IoT infrastructure and products in complex environments.
  • Relationships: You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the wider IOT team by supporting and coaching Engineers, Designers and proactively improving the quality standards and efficiency of delivery.
