Description

We are seeking to onboard Indirect Tax professionals with around 2-4 years of experience in client advisory and litigation. The key responsibilities for this role include:

Key Responsibilities:

Strong analytical skills, including the ability to conduct research using legal databases.
Knowledge of case laws within the relevant legal framework, staying informed about regulatory updates, and understanding their impact on assigned clients.
Proficiency in English and excellent drafting skills and disseminating updates on the latest trends to the team.
Quick research to develop a theoretical understanding of laws and acts.

Required Skillset:

Clients on various aspects of GST (must) and Customs, State Excise, SEZ laws (preferred).
Litigation and investigation assignments, including drafting replies, appeals, and briefing counsels and senior counsels.

Behavioural Competencies:

Agility: Demonstrates a willingness to acquire knowledge of the latest trends in the indirect tax space.
Centricity: Prioritizes meeting clients' expectations by balancing quality and timeliness.
Collaboration: Displays ownership and accountability for team goals, performing assigned tasks as per stated standards.
Orientation: Follows applicable work processes/procedures to deliver outcomes.
Effectiveness: Plans own work, identifies resources, and manages timelines effectively.
Presentation Skills: Creates client presentations using various communication delivery methods (e.g., written, electronic, oral, interpersonal).
