Job Description:
Primary responsibilities:
- The ability to create and deliver coding onboarding curriculum
- The ability to create and deliver ongoing education to coders
- The capacity to recognize and translate operational and strategic training/development needs.
- Proven capacity to design and carry out tactical, flexible training and development strategies and initiatives.
- An understanding of preparation and development processes for curricula.
- The capacity to create, develop, implement, and assess programs, methodologies, and curricula for training.
- Expertise in adult learning theory and techniques.
- Knowledge of professional coding organizations and their resources.
- Proven oral presentation abilities and the capacity to address sizable crowds.
- Proficient writing and vocal communication abilities.
- Competencies in performance management and employee development.
- Working knowledge of medical coding procedures with physicians.
- Working with teams and having experience building teams.
Qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Advanced understanding of medical terminology, body systems/anatomy, physiology, and concepts of disease processes.
- Indepth knowledge of coding process, coding system software, workflow management and electronic medical records
- Demonstrate analytical and problemsolving ability regarding barriers to receiving and validating accurate HCC information.
- Ability to adapt to change in workload and work functions and effectively prioritize
- Provide excellent customer services skills, including consistently displaying awareness and sensitivity to the needs of internal and/or external clients. Proactively ensuring that these needs are met or exceeded.
- Promotes positive coworker relationships through teamwork and cooperation
- Understand, adhere to, and implement the Company's policies and procedures and Code of Conduct to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
- Strong followup & organizational skills required.
- Must possess high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and dependability.

- 5+ years of progressive coding and indepth multispecialty coding experience in assignment of diagnostic coding. (CPT, ICD9/10, HCPCS)
- 2+ years of classroom and/or remote training experience in CMS HCC risk adjustment coding.
Education/Licensure:
- Minimum of High School Diploma, Associates Degree preferred
- Prefer AAPC CRC OR AHIMA RHIT/RHIA and CPC-I certification or pursing certification.
Language Skills:
_ Strong communication skills both written and verbal to work with multiple internal and external clients in a fast-paced environment

Computer Skills:
_Ability to create and maintain documents using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
