- Design, develop, and implement data processing pipelines and applications using SAS and Python.
- Utilize big data technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, Hive) to manage and analyze large datasets.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to create effective plans for application enhancements and bug fixes.
- Ensure all development tasks meet highquality standards through meticulous planning, design, and testing.
- Implement robust automation frameworks and scenarios to streamline development processes.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Mitigate business risks by ensuring timely and accurate execution of infrastructure changes.
- Work independently under minimal supervision, adhering to established coding standards and project requirements.
- Provide expert guidance and support throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
- Proven experience in SAS development, with a strong understanding of base SAS functionalities.
- Solid statistical knowledge and a knack for analytical problemsolving.
- Handson experience with Python and big data technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, Hive).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools to track application performance and health.
- Proficiency in development using SAS, Python, Spark, and potentially R languages.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with various teams.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (SDLC, Agile) and best practices.
- Previous experience working in the big data space with the Hadoop ecosystem is a plus.
