    Description
    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Lead (Defect Lead) to join our team in Chennai


    Responsibilities:

    • Lead defect triage meetings with development, integration, and testing teams to ensure efficient resolution of issues.
    • Analyze customer requests with business & development teams to develop efficient solutions and ensure customer satisfaction using JIRA.
    • Leverage Agile and Waterfall testing methodologies to analyze testing requirements.
    • Actively participate in testing communities to contribute to knowledge management and improve testing practices through continuous learning.
    • Raise and track defects within the designated Test Management tool.
    • Generate Test Summary reports for each sprint/release using the recommended Test Management tool.
    • Navigate the organizational structure effectively to connect with relevant teams for optimal collaboration.

    Mandatory Skillset:

    • 3+ years of handson experience querying JIRA Familiarity with Zephyr Scale, Xray for JIRA

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 8+ years of experience in Quality Control, Assurance, & Test Management
    • Solid understanding of JIRA defect management & test management functionalities
    • Proven ability to write complex filters & jQuery for filters & dashboards
    • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
