    Description

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    1. Understand the existing applications, its configuration and build strategies and coverage tools existing in the system.
    2. Build and manage infrastructure for different lifecycles.
    3. Automate and improve provisioning new infrastructure.
    4. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines including version control, unit testing and code coverage execution and reporting of related metrics.
    5. Automate and improve development and release processes.
    6. Pro-actively monitor and patch system to ensure they are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
    7. Working with Software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
    8. Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.
    9. Implement pro-active monitoring of various system components as well as infrastructure and generate alerts based on defined thresholds.
    10. Incident management and troubleshooting.

    Required Skills:

    1. Proven 5 to 15 years of experience with Linux based infrastructure and proficient in scripting language.
    2. Must have solid cloud computing skills such as network management, cloud computing and cloud databases in any one of the public clouds (AWS, Azure or GCP)
    3. Must have hands-on experience in setting up and managing cloud infrastructure like Kubernetes, VPC, VPN, Virtual Machines, Cloud Databases etc.
    4. Experience in IAC (Infrastructure as Code) tools like Ansible, Terraform.
    5. Must have hands-on experience in coding and scripting in at least one of the following: Shell, Python, Groovy
    6. Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar Software engineering role.
    7. Experienced in establishing an optimized CI / CD environment relevant to the project.
    8. Automation using scripting language like Perl/python and shell scripts like BASH and CSH.
    9. Good knowledge of configuration and building tools like Bazel, Jenkins etc.
    10. Good knowledge of repository management tools like Git, Bit Bucket etc.
    11. Good knowledge of monitoring solutions and generating insights for reporting
    12. Excellent debugging skills/strategies.
    13. Excellent communication skills
    14. Experienced in working in an Agile environment.
