MEDICAL WRITER - remote working (MPharm, PharmD, PhD, MBBS, MD)

Job description:

As a medical writer you are expected to,

  • Be a medical expert provide medical input to various strategic projects of the client.
  • Understand their target audience and customizing content to match the same.
  • Excellent knowledge about literature search strategies
  • Good understanding of hierarchy of medical evidence
  • Demonstrated ability of medical writing activities e.g. Published papers, posters, websites / blogs/ vlogs etc.
  • Excellent speaking ability congress presentations etc.
  • Good understanding of biostatistics, clinical research, pharmacovigilance & medical ethics. Good awareness of global codes and regulations is a must.
  • Must possess thorough knowledge of ICMJE style and medical terminology expertise.
  • Good understanding of editing and data fact checking of content documents to ensure there are no mistakes / inconsistencies.
  • Experience in clinical research, regulatory writing, report writing and pharmacovigilance.
  • Good understanding of the copyapproval process & relevant industry codes and regulations.
  • Ability to bring innovative solutions to various strategic projects and provide medical solutions.
  • Ability to interact with variety of clients from product marketing and sales from healthcare industry to top KOLs.

Education and Experience:


Basic:
(Must)**- Master's degree in medical sciences PharmD, PhD.

  • Medical Bachelors ((MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS) or Mpharm, relevant PhD with relevant experience of 4 years and or publications will be considered.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Advanced:
(Viewed as added value)**- Knowledge of Biostatistics, bioethics, and study methodology

  • Medical editorial / QA/ QC experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Must possess the ability to manage large projects with mínimal supervision
  • Must possess all requisite skills of the Medical Writer position, including excellent grammatical, and proofreading skills, and the ability to interpret and present complex data
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Requirements:
A laptop/desktop, good internet connection and a dedicated mobile number.


Contract type:
Full-time, working from home (remote) opportunity, contract basis


Interview structure:

Interview will be conducted in following steps


  • Online screening questionnaire
  • Task based assessment
  • Interview with directors (Zoom or MS teams)
  • Final selection round for document verifications.
