- Visit or communicate with sales leads
- Work towards sales goals
- Build relationships with potential customers
- Maintain relationships with existing customers
- Calculate the costs of their employer's products or services
- Inform customers and leads about relevant products or services
- Provide customers and leads with quotations
- Attend and represent the organization at trade events
- Negotiate and close sales deals
- Document closed sales and order details
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers about orders
- Collaborate with different departments, such as packaging and purchasing
