    Description

    The Amazon Concessions Support team offers engineering support for production and delivers a variety of services to the Concessions channels we serve. In this role, you'll need to hit the ground running, adapt quickly, and handle diverse tasks crucial to your success.




    Some of the main job functions include:

    • Providing support for incoming tickets, including extensive troubleshooting tasks spanning multiple features and services
    • Working on coding projects focused on operations and maintenance, primarily using Java and Python
    • Supporting software deployment in staging and production environments
    • Creating tools to assist in operations and maintenance
    • Reporting system and support statuses
    • Owning one or more services or components
    • Coordinating customer notifications and workflows to uphold service level agreements
    • Collaborating with the support team to hand off or take over active support issues and build a team-specific knowledge base and skill set

    We are looking to hire individuals to work from the following locations:

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    - 4+ years of software development or technical support experience
    - Proficiency in scripting with modern programming languages
    - Ability to troubleshoot and debug technical systems effectively
    - Familiarity with agile/scrum or similar collaborative workflows
    - Experience in analyzing and documenting technical findings

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    - Understanding of distributed and enterprise applications
    - Knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems
    - Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting RESTful web API calls
