Who We Are

We are the team in Cisco IT responsible for network services for Cisco Engineering and business functions globally. Our goal is to develop a flexible and responsive network on Cisco's ACI platform, a software-defined networking solution. We approach deployment, monitoring, and management of ACI with a DevOps mindset to facilitate quick application updates. We are committed to leveraging innovative technologies to provide fast and dependable services.

What You'll Do

You will be involved in designing, testing, and implementing SDN capabilities in the Data Center Network. Collaboration with engineers from various fields and internal stakeholders is a key aspect of this role. Your focus will be on creating cutting-edge solutions to enhance user experiences.

Who You Are

Hold a Bachelor of Engineering or Technology with at least 5 years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing scalable DC network infrastructure
Possess strong skills in DC network technology including proficiency in Python and Ansible
Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale DC networking technologies
Proficient in technologies like Routing, switching, SDN / ACI, Nexus, VPC, VDC, VLAN, VXLAN, Local load balancer, Global load balancer, application Firewall, etc.
Have practical experience with Nexus, Cisco IOS, and a high-level comprehension of private/public cloud
Skilled in incident, problem, and change management
Familiarity with DevOps principles and Agile practices
Possess a basic understanding of Unix/Linux systems
Basic knowledge and understanding of Git and REST API
CCNA certification is required; CCNP or CCIE certification is advantageous
