Role SummaryWe are seeking a System Assurance Test Manager to join our new shared capability centre (HSCC) based in Hyderabad, integrating into our broader, Global Operating Model.
You will manage and lead the end-to-end test strategy and test plans for the Workday HR system, and other functional requirements taking into account all aspects of system assurance test management.
Your role involves leading and mentoring a team of test analysts, ensuring alignment with the test strategy and overseeing the execution of test cases, defect management, and reporting.
Collaboration with HR and IT teams is essential to document, prioritize, and resolve defects and issues discovered during testing, while maintaining compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive test strategy and test plans for the Workday HR system, and other functional requirements, taking into account all aspects of system assurance test management, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Lead and mentor a team of test analysts, ensuring they are aligned with the testing strategy and responsible for the execution of test cases, defect management, and reporting.
Oversee the execution of functional and end-to-end testing, coordinating and conducting unit testing within Technology systems.Promote and implement test automation strategies to increase testing efficiency and effectiveness. Leverage testing tools compatible with Workday.
Collaborate with HR and IT teams to document, prioritize, and track defects and issues found during testing. Ensure timely resolution and retesting.
Ensure that Workday remains compliant with relevant data security and privacy regulations, and conduct periodic security testing.
Prepare test reports, including status updates, defect tracking, and test coverage analysis. Maintain comprehensive documentation for audit and reference purposes.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing methodologies, tools, and workflows to optimize HR system performance.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Test Manager or similar role, with detailed understanding of end-to-end/functional testing.
Proficiency in Workday HR platform and related testing tools and methodologies.
Strong understanding of data security and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) as they relate to HR systems.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
