Responsibilities:

• Supporting business activities and internal clients to ensure that data is structured, organised, stored and processed efficiently, effectively and meets business need
• Strong handson technical knowledge of Data Governance concepts, processes, operational model, and organizational support models
• Define user stories and review requirement specifications provided & user stories to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Need to handle attribute definition, data modelling; entities, relationships, metadata management, data lifecycle, lineage and traceability
• Support QA team and Design & create proper test data which can be reused
• Focus on business benefits, data reuse, governing data and creating and enforcing Data Governance policies and procedures
• Ensure high levels of data quality, availability, accuracy, completeness, consistency and privacy. Assist business data owners to identify the root cause of data issues
• Work with business users and Data Stewards to define cleanse plans to resolve conflict and manage issues to completion
• Handle of data quality, profiling, KPIs and dashboards, data mastering and synchronisation.
• Experience working in Agile Methodology
• Authoring User stories.
• Experience working in Use case diagrams, Visio and Mockups.

Essential Skills

• Experienced in working in an Agile/Scrum development processes
• Should be certified in Scrum.
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
• Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as indepth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
• Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams

- knowledge about Data governance, GDPR and/or other Data Privacy regulations

• Strong understanding of Enterprise Level Business Flow, DG (Data Governance), DQ (Data Quality), Data Lineage and Data Domain
• Experience of Collibra Data Governance Centre or other data governance or metadata management tools. Including; metadata management, content onboarding, data stewardship.
• Strong Business Analytical skills and Data analysis using Excel/VBA/SQL
• Knowledge and understanding of enterprise data governance concepts.
• Identify and conduct data governance problem investigations to resolve any issues, inaccuracies or to make enhancements, working with the relevant engineering/IT teams or third parties accordingly
• Assess impacts on the business both technically and operationally and recommend
• Experienced in supporting clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Knowledge about continuous delivery/continuous testing environment
• 1+ year experience in Configure and on board metadata into the enterprise data governance tool.
• Eager to learn relevant business knowledge
• Act as a team player and know how to contribute to the process
• Good communication skills and are able to collaborate across teams
• Proficient in English
• Flexible and are willing to learn and improve

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

• Masters or Bachelors in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Understanding of Meta Data, Reference Data Management, Data Quality, and Data Governance is plus
