- Assist the Regional Audit Manager in developing a risk-based audit plan.
- Carry out audits in accordance with the Audit Plan vis-à-vis special assignments as advised by the Regional Audit Manager.
- Recommend robust controls for the areas of risks identified during the audits.
- Compile precise and clear audit reports
- Evaluation of compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and effectiveness of existing policies and procedures and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Liaise with the key members of the management team to compile Management feedback / action plans emanating from the audits.
- Systematically track the action plans agreed upon and monitor the closure of audit findings.
- Work with local managers and staff to ensure a robust control environment and alignment to best practices as advised by the Regional Audit Manager.
- Assist the Regional Audit Manager in streamlining the audit policies and procedures, and audit working papers etc.
- Assist in preparing the Audit Committee presentations.
- A solid educational background such as CA, ACCA, CMA, or similar professional qualification in finance and / or audit.
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Certifications such as CIA/ CISA/ CFE would be a plus. Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written & oral) including excellent report writing.
- High degree of professionalism, commitment, and integrity.
- Cultural awareness, understanding, and sensitivity.
- An eye for detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in analytical tools (e.g., Power BI) will be preferred.
- Willingness to travel within India (including remote areas) and outside India.
