Overview:

Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring that architectural patterns are followed by all data engineering teams
Understand the existing data models, reuse, and make necessary revisions as required
Have a good understanding of integration design patterns and create designs accordingly
Understand and design tables in Databricks to leverage the power of cloud computing
Working with large datasets and ensure timely availability to reporting platforms and data visualization.
Optimize the data pipelines to provide data with quality and trust. Be a data domain expert, while partnering with several technology teams, analytical teams, and data scientists across various initiatives.
Understand the different source systems and their data attribution to identify the source of truths for bringing trust in data while reporting. Also build frameworks to aid in quality data pipelines.
Understand and implement Master Data Management solutions.
Work closely with the senior data architect to design various processes and frameworks

Qualifications:

At least 7+ years experiencewith Microsoft Suite of Business Intelligence Products
Proven experience as a Data Architect, DW Solution Architect or similar role
Ability to come up with outofthebox solutions to help the business achieve its objectives
Work well with other architects in the organization and be on top of anything that might impact data
Coach team leads and developers to build efficient data pipelines
Display leadership skills and be able to inspire and guide the team consistently
Have experience of working with Cloud technologies preferably in Azure
Should possess good experience in building data solutions
Proven track record in the finance industry with experience in understanding business objectives and requirements, and implementing them in quick time
Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate to top management and stakeholders
