Maaydesh Foundation is a Pune-based non-profit group renovating schools, social institutions and key historic buildings.

We are looking for a supervisor who can track, guide, and support the construction progress. You will work with Foundation managers, architects, contractors, consultants and project board members.


Responsibilities include:

• Review project plans
• Get to know the current status and current progress
• Identify critical dates for completion
• Track daily progress, look for issues, and contact the necessary person to help resolve it
• Visit locations (Mumbai, Pune, Kokan) and spend some time at each location to become a responsible Project manager on behalf of Maaydesh Foundation.
• Create daily reports and report to the Foundation management team.

Skills:

• Clear understanding on building construction steps, processes and practices to guide the contractor.
• Understand architectural drawings and guide the construction contractor
• Know all basic contractor jobs like brick work, tile work, plastering, painting, plumbing, electricals etc.
• Must know how to use Laptop, Microsoft Outlook, gmail, Excel, Word, Power Point
• Must know how to "Search" local and national items.
• Must have driver's license.
• Experience traveling to Mumbai, Pune, Kokan
• Should be able speak, read and write in English and Marathi
• Helping attitude is the most beneficial quality.
