    As a leading global market research company, Market Xcel is seeking dynamic offline SeniorProject Managers to join our project management team. This team caters to domestic and global clients across various industry verticals for their qualitative and quantitative fieldwork requirements.

    The candidate is responsible for managing Market-Xcel' domestic offline projects and will be the primary point of contact for our esteemed clients during the course of a project. Project management responsibilities focus on planning, executing, oversight and completing of a project as efficiently and promptly as possible. Responsibilities include: monitoring project progress and ensuring timelines are met, maintaining relationships with clients, vendor/field agency selection along with oversight, and ensuring that delivery of the project is within budget and scope.

    Roles & responsibilities

    Client Oversight:

    1. ∙ Organize and participate in client meetings
    2. ∙ Prepare and communicate client project status updates
    3. ∙ Create facility/project details for clients
    4. ∙ Ensure client compliance requirements are met
    5. ∙ Seen as the day-to-day resource for milestone updates and overall management of the project
    6. ∙ Provides support to the client lead in conversations with difficult clients
    7. ∙ Works with project team to gather feedback on project post completion of study

    Compliance Requirements:

    1. ∙ Ensure project staff have proper experience and training
    2. ∙ Submission of reconciliations as required by client
    3. ∙ Project closeout oversight and review
    4. ∙ Preparation and oversight for internal/external audits
    5. ∙ General understanding of Market research regulation and guidelines
    6. ∙

    Fieldwork Management:

    1. ∙ Project Planning, budget management & productivity
    2. ∙ Act as a source of advice on project feasibility.
    3. ∙ Manage research projects of different levels of complexity.
    4. ∙ Manage multiple projects successfully by planning and prioritizing.
    5. ∙ Proactively plan suggest and agree project deadlines with client / CS.
    6. ∙ Demonstrate understanding of questionnaire design and able to use a consultative approach to suggest alternatives to client / CS.
    7. ∙ Project management using PMS (project management software)
    8. ∙ Schedule and lead kick-off meeting
    9. ∙ Direct field management oversight
    10. ∙ Advising on in-field data verification checks and general quality checks.
    11. ∙ Lead daily/weekly project calls for project oversight.
    12. ∙ Monitoring progress of projects and adjusting as needed to meet project goals.
    13. ∙ Supporting team and clients in developing SOP, Project flows and project planning.
    14. ∙ Troubleshoot fieldwork issues.
    15. ∙ Project cost management and maintaining project profitability
    16. ∙ Oversight of all incoming and outgoing project documentation/materials
    17. ∙ Provide technology support
    18. ∙ Own the formal Project close-out process including customer satisfaction survey and project competition certificate.
    19. ∙ Work closely with all departments to achieve best solutions and service for Market-Xcel's clients.
    20. ∙ Work closely with Sales Teams and Client Services Director to develop solid and lasting client relationships.

    Vendor Management

    1. ∙ Research/onboarding of new vendors
    2. ∙ Commissioning and aiding in selection of vendor(s)
    3. ∙ Generating, issuing, and monitoring of vendor purchase orders
    4. ∙ Review and approval vendor invoices
    5. ∙ Provide end-of-project notes regarding vendor performance per project

    Operational Excellence and Innovation:

    1. ∙ Assists in development of project management best practice documentation
    2. ∙ Work with the leads to develop a pilot and implement new respondent recruiting strategies
    3. ∙ Supports inserting efficiencies into the project management process
    4. ∙ Participate in quarterly and annual reviews

    Experience & Qualification

    1. ∙ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
    2. ∙ Candidates with PMP certifications are preferred
    3. ∙ 5+ years of offline project management experience with a client-facing role and 7+ years' overall experience in market research industry
    4. ∙ Good Experience of handling FMCG projects – Qual & Quant

    Skills

    1. ∙ Competency in Word, PPT & Excel (vlookup, Pivot, etc)
    2. ∙ Strong communication/interpersonal skills
    3. ∙ Understanding of MR techniques such as random/ Kish selection/Sampling/RHR/Purposive etc
    4. ∙ Time management/Priority Management skillset
    5. ∙ Ability to make decisions, problem-solve, take responsibility and be adaptable
    6. ∙ Ability to work well in a team environment
    7. ∙ Solutions-oriented; ability to offer perspective on process efficiencies
    8. ∙ Motivated, proactive, flexible, accurate and driven
    9. ∙ Good organizational skills, combined with the ability to multi-task and prioritize potentially conflicting work demands
    10. ∙ Knowledgeable in related and applicable technologies
    11. ∙ Proficiency in reports & analysis will be an added advantage.
