Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Educational Counselor to join our team and support individuals interested in pursuing a career in medical coding.

As an Educational Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students through their educational journey, providing them with valuable insights, advice, and information to excel in the field of medical coding.

Responsibilities:

Student Guidance: Provide personalized guidance and support to prospective and current students interested in enrolling in our medical coding programs.

Program Information: Present detailed information about our medical coding programs, including curriculum, course structure, admission requirements, and potential career pathways.

Career Counseling: Assist students in understanding the various career opportunities available within the medical coding field and help them align their educational goals with their professional aspirations.

Advisory Services: Offer expert advice on course selection, program prerequisites, and academic planning to ensure students make informed decisions that match their individual strengths and interests.

Progress Monitoring: Regularly check in with enrolled students to monitor their progress, address any concerns, and provide academic support as needed.

Resource Sharing: Share relevant educational resources, study materials, and tools that can enhance students' learning experience and help them succeed academically.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, healthcare administration, or a related field Or Any Graduation
• Prior experience in educational counseling, preferably within the healthcare or medical coding domain.
• Strong knowledge of medical coding concepts, industry standards, and career pathways.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Empathetic and patient approach to student interactions, with a genuine interest in helping individuals achieve their educational and career goals.
• Organizational skills to effectively manage student records, communication, and followup activities.
• Familiarity with educational software, online learning platforms, and tools for remote counseling.
