The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer plays a crucial role in promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for employees, sub-contractors, and visitors.

They are responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and enforcement of HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:1.

Compliance and Policy Implementation:

  • Assist in the development, review, and implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Support the dissemination of HSE policies and procedures to all employees and stakeholders.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

  • Participate in the identification and assessment of workplace hazards and risks through regular inspections and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement control measures to mitigate identified risks.

Training and Education:

  • Support the delivery of HSE training programs to employees, contractors, and visitors to enhance awareness and understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and resources as needed.

Incident Reporting and Investigation:

  • Assist in the investigation of workplace incidents, accidents, near misses, and environmental spills to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Compile incident reports and maintain accurate records of all HSE-related incidents.

Emergency Response Preparedness:

  • Support the development and maintenance of emergency response plans and procedures to effectively manage emergencies such as fires, chemical spills, and medical emergencies.
  • Participate in emergency response drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of response protocols.

Auditing and Monitoring:

  • Participate in HSE audits and inspections to assess compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the identification of areas for improvement and the development of corrective action plans.

Pay:
₹50, ₹75,000.00 per month


Education:


  • Diploma (preferred)

Experience:
