Certification/Course:
Linux, Solaris & UNIX

Experience should be required on Hardware Server & Storage

Roles & Responsibilities:

Should be able to analyze the logs, identify the exact problem and replace the required hardware.
Hands on experience on ALL SUN Servers, Storage & SUN tape libraries
Prepare the POA for Hardware replacemenT
Should be knowledgably to corelate the hardware functioning across the physical and logical domains of the servers
Identify the firmware issues & upgrade/downgrade as pe requirementTroubleshoot, test, and analyze complex issues
Ability to mentor and train junior technical staff
Understanding of backup process, system monitoring, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and scripting for Linux/Solaris
Knowledge of HP/Dell/Oracle understanding is a plus
Installing, configuring, patching, upgrading
Configuring JRun connectors and J2EE
