Job Title:
Part-Time Hindi Lecturer** at Harsha Institute of Management Studies, 129/47/1 to 7, Varadanayakanahalli Village, Thyamagondlu Hobli, Nelamangala Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District


Qualification & Experience:

MA (Hindi) with 60% and teaching experience of atleast 2 to 3 years in handling Undergraduate Classes (BBA, BCA, BSc, BCom) in a College.


Responsibilities:
As a part-time Hindi Lecturer in a College, your roles and responsibilities may include the following:

Teaching Hindi language courses:
Your primary responsibility will be to deliver lectures and conduct classes on Hindi language and literature. This includes designing lesson plans, preparing teaching materials, and delivering engaging and interactive lectures.


Curriculum development:
Collaborate with the department or curriculum committee to develop and update the Hindi language curriculum. This may involve selecting appropriate textbooks, designing assessments, and incorporating new teaching methodologies.


Conducting assessments:

Prepare and administer exams, quizzes, assignments, and other forms of assessments to evaluate students' understanding and progress in the Hindi language.

Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.


Classroom management:
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment. Manage classroom activities, promote student engagement, and address any disciplinary issues in accordance with the college's policies and guidelines.


Stay updated with developments:
Keep abreast of new developments in Hindi language teaching methodologies, literature, and linguistic research. Stay informed about the latest resources, technology, and trends relevant to language education.


Professional development:
Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your teaching skills. Attend workshops, conferences, and seminars related to Hindi language instruction, pedagogy, and assessment.


Collaboration and teamwork:

Collaborate with other faculty members, department heads, and staff to contribute to the overall growth and development of the Hindi language program.

Participate in faculty meetings, contribute to curriculum discussions, and share best practices with colleagues.


Administrative tasks:

Fulfill administrative duties such as maintaining attendance records, submitting grades, and completing other paperwork as required by the college or department.


Community engagement:
Promote the Hindi language program within the college and engage with the wider community.

Organize or participate in Hindi language events, cultural activities, and initiatives that contribute to the promotion and awareness of Hindi language and culture.


Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 18 per week


Salary:
₹ ₹400.00 per hour

Experience:
