What you'll be doing:

The key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Experience of having developed and delivered multiple technology projects/products from scratch.
  • Manage development right from conceptualization to development to General Availability to
support/maintenance.

  • Demonstrable track record in leading large, complex data science and analytics projects which drive tangible,
significant business gains in P&C insurance domain

  • Build and lead a technical team.
  • Ownership of complex software architectures, operational metrics, and running the day to day operations of
the business.

  • Involvement in the full software development life cycle with stringent needs on (i) time to productization,
and (ii) quality of product - functional and non-functional aspects.

  • Designing and defining the interaction between the different components and teams.
  • Work closely with the business and architects to develop the best technical design and approach for new
  • Definition of, and compliance with, a worldclass build/release and configuration management process.
  • Understand the customer needs and translate this to creating detailed use cases, design and/or
  • Support business development with custom demos or POCs based on customer requirements to demonstrate

Perform project governance:
- to track and report cost, risk, dependencies, resources and variances to internal and external

stakeholders.
- to track and manage resource utilisation as against the approved project budgets.
- to track and manage, for in-flight projects, statuses and variances (effort, schedule).

  • Manage technology and architecture:
- to lead opportunity identification for automation and conceptualize market viable solution.
- to help provide high level solution proposal for identified opportunities.
- to lead solution review with multiple stakeholders and attain proposal signoff.
- to lead market research on new tools, technologies and new areas to focus.
- for leading technology management of common tools planned for horizontal support to all processes

and solutions.
- by ensuring modularity and configurability of solutions.

  • Manage and assist project execution teams:
  • by leading multiple end to end high impact projects and ensure delivery as per the committed
timeline and budget.
- in identification and management of stakeholders to ensure delivery as per the committed timelines

and budget.
- by performing periodic technical review and guiding the project execution team with architecture

decisions and execution.
- by planning and managing cross utilization of resources for execution projects.
- by highlight risks and providing course correction to ensure market viable solution.

  • Exhibit excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proven ability to lead a high performing team.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • B.Tech/B.E or an MBA or equivalent preferred from a good institute
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in software focus in solutioning, strategy/value consulting, product
management/development.

  • Someone who has been into Technical Product Development and got transfigured into a Product Owner.
  • Has managed architects and Software engineers & played a critical role in Architecture, Design Development
and Delivery.

  • Deep technical knowledge in software, systems and security to dive into details with engineers and distill to
high level for executives, customers and non-technical audience.

  • Experienced in software engineering, massive scale web operations and security with Product Companies.
  • Versatility with developing products on multiple technology stacks that get delivered in traditional data
centers, public clouds, and private clouds.

Extensive knowledge of IT project and program delivery and various SDLC frameworks. Adept understanding

and implementation of Agile methodology.

  • Strategic thinking with a knack for identifying risks effectively
  • Selfmotivated and passionate individual with an technology mindset and the ability to identify digitization
and digitalization opportunities in the insurance value chain.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills; proven ability to effectively get
buy-in at all levels and across cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to quickly understand, decide and adopt new technology innovations/tools.
  • Ability to quickly gauge the technology and digital needs of the insurance industry and lead/guide the
adoption of latest technology tools/cutting edge tech. Drive technology innovations that act as disruptors to

the insurance industry.

  • Ability to understand and create a technology roadmap. Plan/align appropriate technical resources and
create a framework for their capability enhancements along with cross skilling

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with positioning a SaaS value proposition.
  • A confident presenter and selfstarter.

  • Experience and detailed knowledge of the P&C Insurance indus
