Job Description:


An electroencephalographic (EEG) technician or technologist is a medical professional who uses specialized equipment to measure brain abnormalities in patients and monitor nervous system activity.

EEG technicians use diagnostic machines at the request of a physician to perform EEG tests (or electroencephalograms), which can detect brain damage or disorders.

EEG technicians work under the supervision of neurologists or other doctors.


Resposibilities:

  • Take patients' medical history.
  • Monitor patients during sleep cycles to diagnose sleep disorders.
  • Observe, measure and record the electrical activity and brain wave patterns by using an encephalograph.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Requirements/Qualification:

  • High school diploma, GED certification.
  • Intraoperative monitoring.
  • Video EEG monitoring.

Salary:
₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
