Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Manager with a background in the automobile industry to join our organization.

As an Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial operations related to our automobile Clients.

Your primary focus will be to manage day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and provide strategic financial insights to drive business growth and profitability.


Responsibilities:


Financial Management:

Manage and supervise the overall financial operations of the automobile division, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting.


Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.


Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate with relevant departments to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the automobile division. Monitor budgetary performance and provide proactive recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.

Cost Control:
Monitor and analyze costs, expenses, and overheads within the automobile division. Implement cost control measures and identify areas for process improvement to maximize profitability.

Cash Flow Management:

Ensure effective cash flow management by monitoring and projecting cash flows, managing working capital, and optimizing cash utilization within the automobile business.


Financial Analysis:

Conduct regular financial analysis, performance evaluations, and profitability assessments to identify opportunities for growth, cost reduction, and operational efficiency within the automobile division.


Compliance and Audit:
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other legal requirements specific to the automobile industry. Coordinate internal and external audits and support audit processes.

Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the accounting department.

Vendor and Supplier Management:

Oversee vendor and supplier relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to maintain strong business partnerships.


Systems and Process Improvement:

Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting systems, processes, and internal controls to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and mitigate risks within the automobile division.


Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate financial information, analysis, and insights to senior management and relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Provide financial guidance for decision-making processes.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) and professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are advantageous.

  • 8 years of experience in accounting and finance roles within the automobile industry, with a focus on financial management and reporting.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation regulations specific to the automobile sector.

Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis techniques within the automotive industry.

Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with industry-specific software (e.g., Dealer Management Systems) is a plus.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements and optimize financial operations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes impacting the automobile sector.


Salary:
₹25, ₹30,000.00 per year
