Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for an experienced Product Owner with a track record for defining and implementing best-practice customer software products, processes, and procedures.

You must have a passion for building great cloud-based software products and developing in-product service capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Handling product lifecycle including market assessment, product requirement, product development, launch, release, and support.
Engaging customers to understand their use of the Cloud Platform and translating these requirements to product use cases and scenarios.
Engaging with customers and team members throughout the development lifecycle.
Handling product backlog, user story, and crossproduct dependencies.
Identify, define, analyze, prioritize and refine the requirements, and communicate those requirements to the development team.
Participating in agile activities including product demonstrations, retrospectives, backlog grooming and sprint planning.
Ability to handle multiple internal and external customers.
Participate in product strategy and roadmap.
Develop and perform product demos.
Inbound responsibilities consist of working with the technology team to deliver wordclass Cloud products driven by customers, prospects, advisory teams and internal product experts.
Outbound responsibilities include product lifecycle management, market assessment, meeting with customers, prospects and industry analysts to discuss product requirements and the product service roadmap.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher. Computer Science, or relevant field.
5+ years' experience in product development or management (e.g. product owner, product manager, business analysis, manager, scrum master).
Strong communication and presentation skill.
Experience in UX/UI design preferred.
Understanding of scrum preferred.
Understanding of and curiosity about Cloud/E-Business/ERP preferred but not required.
