This role position is responsible for end to end tool & Die maintenance activities in Stamping for the follwing
1) Provide continuous support to Stamping production team by feeding dies at right time.
2) Continuously improve the process through latest technology in dies, to achieve Cost, Quality & Productivity targets.
3) Troubleshooting activities and support to manufacturing for issue resolution related to dies and tools.
4) Project management for all tool & Die related projects (from design conception to final delivery of tools & Dies) by collaborating among multiple functions to ensure dies and tools are delivered on time for production.

1. About 15-18 years end to end Experience in Automobiles / Manufacturing Industry.

Metal Forming Analysis.
1.Knowledge of metal flowing in draw (press) dies of automotive panels by controlling parameters like bead radius, height, material properties. Press parameters.
2.Knowhow of metal forming processes like drawing, forming etc.
3.Knowledge of metal piercing, trimming restrike, bending lancing, flanging processes.
Trials and Countermeasure... Should be conversant with following.
4.Conducting trials of all in-house Stamped panels like Body Side, Fender, Hood, Tail gate, Doors, Dash, Floor and Roof etc.
Development of Various Progressive Dies.
6.Analysis of different panel defects, their identification and countermeasure.
7.Correlation Virtual vs. Actual Skin Quality defects, Risk assessment.
