POSITION:
The company shall offer you the position of
#TIG
#Welder with a start date to be agreed.

PROBATIONARY PERIOD:

LOCATION OF JOB
Your normal place of work is
#SalterBeck Trading Estate,
#Workington, Cumbria, CA14 5DS.

However, it is a condition of your employment that you be prepared to work on a temporary or permanent basis at any of the Company's current or future premises within reasonable commuting distance of your normal place of work.

SALARY:
Your salary will be #£ per
#annum. You will be paid monthly in arrears by BACS on the 25th of each month.

HOURS OF WORK:

Your normal working hours are 40 hours per week to work from 7:30 to 16:15, Monday to Thursday, 7.30 to 15:00 hours on Friday, with 10 minutes paid break & 30 minutes for unpaid lunch.

It is a condition of your employment that you work additional hours either as and when requested to do so by the Company or where necessary to fulfil the requirements of your position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plans welding by studying work orders, engineering plans, materials, specifications, locations of surfaces, and parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.

EXPERIENCE:

Time served welder/fabricator who has qualified from a recognised training body (NVQ Level 3).
A Proficient
#TIG /
#MIG Welder must have experience in pipe welding of Carbon and Stainless Steels working to RT/UT & MPI/DPI quality.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:

Good attention to detail and able to work as a team player, performing to a high standard.
The ability to use a computer to access work instructions, time keeping, perform data entry and complete training if required.
