Description
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of diagnostic supplies, reagents, consumables, and equipment.
- Utilize Excel to track and analyze inventory data, including stock levels, usage patterns, and trends.
- Coordinate with procurement team to forecast inventory needs and initiate purchase orders.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and address any discrepancies.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of inventory, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand inventory requirements and identify potential supply chain issues.
- Optimize inventory management processes and implement best practices to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Generate reports using Excel to provide insights into inventory levels, usage, and cost analysis.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to manage product delivery schedules and resolve any issues related to quality or timely supply.
- Implement effective stock rotation and expiry management strategies.
- Maintain proper documentation and records related to inventory transactions and processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends and developments in inventory management practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management or supply chain operations, with expertise in store/inventory handling and management.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in using Excel for data analysis, reporting, and inventory tracking.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in inventory operations.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and tools is a plus.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Knowledge of diagnostic supplies, reagents, and equipment is desirable.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to inventory management in the healthcare industry is a plus.
- Problemsolving mindset and ability to identify process improvements and implement solutions.
