Responsibilities:

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including business analysts, developers, and product owners, to understand project requirements and design test cases accordingly.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various [Insurance/Financial] products, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Identify, document, and report defects using appropriate testing tools, such as JIRA or similar bug tracking systems.
Verify bug fixes and new features through regression testing to ensure the stability of the product.
Participate in test estimation, planning, and test strategy discussions to contribute to the overall testing process.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, exploring opportunities for test automation where appropriate.
Collaborate with the QA team to maintain a comprehensive test environment and ensure data integrity.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven 2 to 6 years of experience as a QA Manual Tester, with a focus on Insurance domain testing.
Strong understanding of [Insurance/Financial] processes and concepts, including policy administration, claims handling, and regulatory compliance.
Solid experience in developing test cases and test scenarios to verify complex business logic.
Proficiency in manual testing techniques, test methodologies, and defect tracking systems.
Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks, such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and the ability to adapt to fastpaced development cycles.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
BFSI industry experience will be highly advantageous.
