FILIING INFORMATION- Name- DGM - GL- Department- Freight Forwarding Shared Services - Finance- Location- Nhava Sheva, Mumbai- Position reports to- Head Freight Forwarding Shared Services- ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Key responsibilities- Reporting

Prepare monthend accounting reports, including income, expense & profitability statements
Prepare cashflow statements, month end schedules & other reports
Controllership
Execute various checks to ensure correct & accurate accounting is maintained
Liaison with various teams to ensure accuracy of accounting
Supervise and monitor GL and Fixed Assets accounting
Assist in Group Reporting Audit, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, and Internal Audit for Taxation Function
Team Management
Lead & mentor the accounting team
Establish 4 eye concept where needed
Stakeholder Management
Establish connect with Country / Regional Finance Managers
Ensure delivery as committed schedules & quality
Identify opportunities to centralize additional activities from regions
Process Management
Establish clear process maps
Identify opportunities to enhance process effectiveness
Implement best practices
Any other responsibility/task; not limited to the abovementioned tasks, that may be assigned from time to time in view of the job requirements.

**QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

Good Communication skills in English language, both oral and written.
C.A./ICWA
814 years' experience in maintaining financial accounts & finalization of accounts & Balance Sheet in a logistics business.
Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing
Proficiency in Oracle Fusion
